sprinkle baking soda in the trunk and shampoo , keep the trunk open when you are home to air out , and keep a box of baking soda in the trunk for a while .
Dude, we had a bottle of champagne explode in our car on our way home from our honeymoon, and got pulled over by the cops. She smelled it and made my husband put it in the trunk (which I had told him to do ANYWAY, but you know how men are - ;P), but the damage had been done. Get a towel and soak up as much liquid as possible, shampoo as best you can, but don’t dry it. Just pour baking soda on the stains. I would let it sit for a day or 2 leaving the trunk open as much as possible. Gotta let the stank out. Vacuum and re-treat until the scent is gone. Good luck. Ours was there for months!
