All of a sudden my 9 month old refuses formula milk…?

July 7th, 2008 · 1 Comment

I am still breast feeding during the nights. Now all of a sudden my 9 month old baby boy will not drink any formula milk. As soon as he smells or tastes it turns his head. I can give another bottle at the same time with apple juice etc. and this he will drink. I mix the formula milk in porridge now…but how much porridge can I give…and now I am worrying since I try to cut down on the breast feeding I have no alternative to offer him!! Has anyone else experienced this problem. Could it be this particular milk? Should I try with another one?
I have never likes any forms of milk myself since I was about 9 months old but I didn't think this could be hereditary???

Have you introduced the sippy cup? Try putting formula in the sippy cup; maybe the change will entice him.

If you can't find a way to get him the formula, begin breastfeeding more. Since you're still producing milk, your supply should go up with his demand.
