I would like to know what an easy recipe is, because where I live, I can’t get baking powder or anything ‘American’ for your everyday chocolate chip recipe. Any one have any recipes? Thanks!
i can't buy them either, because i don't live in the US or any other places like that.
i live in ukraine, and you can't buy any kind of ready made mixes or anything like that. i've already looked, and they don't have anything close to baking powder and stuff like that, especially if you are translating it from russian to english.
they also don't sell ready made dough or mixes here.

Where are you? They should have some equivalent to baking powder or baking soda. It’s not exactly an American invention. Try looking for a translation for “sodium bicarbonate”. That’s the same thing as baking soda.
