Are fruits and vegetable diets affective?

If all I eat is lean meat vegetable, fruit and drink only water, 5 calories cystal light, and an occasional gatorade.

will that be an affective diet

I'm doing drastic exercize too

4 hrs of exercize a day

      I'm following that same diet–veggies, meat, fruits… It is effective, but that exercise routine is just too much. You will tire yourself out. One hour of cardio, along with 30 minutes of aerobics and strength training four/five times a week will be effective. And it's much more reasonable than four hours of exercise seven times a week, every week. If you already don't exercise, don't be crazy. Take your time. Do you really want to do twenty-eight hours of exercise every week? Think that over. =P

      yes it is effective because fruits and vegetables have low calories and also means low fats. you can also eat lowfat meats like fish and chicken.
      minimize your intake of processed drinks because most of them has lots of sodium. try drinking lots of water instead. ;)
