Are vegetarian diets good for losing weight???

Ok so i NEED to loose weight….. I think that this might be the way for me….. but i want what will make me loose weight and keep me healthy too, PLEASE HELP!!!

      "lose" weight.

      I was going to say just avoid high fat and sugar content.

      Yes indeed they are! Most meats are high in saturated fat, cholesterol, and calories, so cutting these out are a good way to reduce your caloric intake. Make sure you eat a lot of high-protein foods, and don't be a "french fry" vegetarian - stay away from junk food and foods full of carbs.

      i cut out meat and poultry about a month and a half and so far i lost 10lbs…so it sould work for u

      Not necessarily
      Veg food could be very fatty, Eg Fries
      You still have to check the calories

      Sure. If you don't go in for fried food. Restrict yourself to green vegetables and low carbohydrate items.
