I was diagnosed with anxiety many moons ago and I have a fear or sickness and allergy. I've drank many different kinds of beer but once I got a red spot on my arm..I don't even think the beer caused it but it caused a panic. So anyway I drank some more different days…nothing happens. I have the flu now and I had one beer today and felt my asthma acting up. I think its the flu but I keep telling myself its the beer.
It's not just beer, I could think like that for anything, but I really like the beer and I don't want to be afraid of trying new things and enjoying the things I always did. Suggestions would be great.
Actually, the funny thing is, I drank other beers of the same nature and brewery, even the lite version of it with no effects. Thats why I blame it on anxiety and normal asthma.
Also, I do not take meds for anxiety. I stopped them awhile ago.

You could be allergic to the hops in it…

Yeast also causes problems if you are intolerant of it. Do you take medication for anxiety? Alcohol will increase the effect of most medications.

You're allergic to the hops or wheat in the beer. And without your meds, you're overreacting to these symptoms. Go to the doctor, be tested for allergies and get back on your meds.
