caffeine pills vs coffee prior to work out ?

August 23rd, 2008 · 3 Comments

i have been considering taking caffeine pills/tabs before my morning work out. …does anyone know if caffeine in pill form kicks in quicker than just liquid coffee? or would i still need to take it 30 min before work out? and any suggestions on the brand of caffeine pills/tabs that works the fastest in giving the boost and is fairly cheap?
thanks so much! :)

Vitamin B would be a lot healthier than caffeine. It does the same thing but without the bad consequences of caffeine. Just take one pill a day and you’ll feel a lot better.

Idk but just a quick fact.
Coffee has a more natural caffeine in it as oppose to the synthetic caffeine in pills such as “nodoz.”
I dont know what difference that makes but you should do some research

Why take a caffeine pill to workout? Personally I would say neither. I took some a while back and it made me jittery. Unless, you really need coffee/caffeine to jump start your day.

Instead, go for breakfast bar or protein shakes. Try GNC, they have a ton of stuff that won’t make you have a side effect after taking them
