Can dogs eat chocolate?

  It is not a good idea. There are several different chocolates milk, semi sweet, dark etc. Bakers chocolate is the deadliest. All have caffeine and in certain levels depending on size of dog can cause heart arrhythmias, vomiting, diarrhea and even death.

  Of course they can physically eat it. It is toxic to them though. Except white chocolate, they can eat that.

  no you musnt give dog chocolate it contains a poison that can kill them only chocolate specifically for dogs

  No not at all. It can cause serious problems to dogs and sometimes death. don’t feed a dog chocolate ever! I know someone who’s dog got into chocolate and had a seizure.

  chocolate is not really bad for your dogs
  my dog eats it all the time and he is just fine

  My 2 Greyhounds stole and ate 1 pound each and wanted more.Quite an expensive diet it was. I was told that all dogs were allergic but it did not hurt them. Best not to give any to them in any case.

  Do not give them any at all. You may say ” Oh, i’ve done it before and nothing happened”

  Well, you may be lucky enough that nothing happened that you SAW but it does damage the liver.

  So, do not do it.

  I have heard that chocolate is bad for dogs in the sense that it can cause them tachycardia.

  No Wayyy!! Chocolate is basically deadly to dogs. Though if a dog gets into some it may not hurt them due to experience with my dog. And my gmom had a dog a while ago when she was younger and practically always fed it human food including chocolate. And the dog was always healthy. but it’s a risk. i wouldn’t give my dog chocolate just so he could have it.

  I say don’t do it, but it doesn’t actually hurt soe dogs, but to be on the safe side don’t do it.

  First and foremost, it must be said that dogs must NOT eat chocolate. No matter how pathetic he looks at you, no matter how much he whines, let me repeat, dogs must NOT eat chocolate. Keep ALL forms of chocolate out of his reach and locked away at all times.

  Keep in mind that once dogs have tasted chocolate, they want more. The problem, according to veterinary experts, is that eating just a speck of chocolate leads a dog to crave more. They become addicted to chocolate very easily. It can mean that your dog will jump at any opportunity to get any type of chocolate and chocolate can kill.

  They can’t eat chocolate because it makes their heart race and can make them die. They also can’t eat grapes.
