I've sorta noticed a pattern.. where every time I drink a Starbucks doubleshot, I start feeling really nervous.. shaky, and my heart beats so fast, like 10 minutes or so after drinking it. Is this common?

Yep………………coffee has caffeine which increases hyperness, sleeplessness, increased heartrate and anxiety in many people. Me, no problem…..I can even go right to sleep after having a cup.
Try decreasing the caffeine ~ try a single shot for a while and see if that helps. You are just hypersensitive to caffeine.

Yes. Coffee has caffeine. Those double shots and other weird coffee concoctions often have double or more of the caffeine that regular coffee does. Some people are more supseptable to caffeine than others. It might not be as noticable with a single coffe, tea, or soda but when you increase your caffeine intake it will be noticable then.
I would avoid that double shot in the future. In fact try not to dinrk anything with more than 20 - 30 mg of caffeine at a time if this is affecting you like that. 20 - 30 mg is about average for regular soda, coffee and tea.
