I am broke and only have some many things that I can eat in the house. I am wondering if it would taste ok to use some french onion dip mixed with some broth and put it on some noodles.
Thanks for your help guys! I mixed it with a little bit of butter, some milk, and some flour. It tastes really good!

I think it would be too salty and creamy to make into a broth

I would think that it might be too salty to enjoy, especially since the onion dip and the broth tend to be salty already. Maybe try mixing a teaspoon of the onion dip with a teaspoon of ketchup or chili sauce or seafood sauce or mayo - give that the taste test - if you like it, make more and add that. Personally I love nothing better than plain pasta with butter or marg, cracked pepper and sprinkled with anything resembling cheese, and adding anything I have on hand as far as veggies or meat.

you go gal, I think we all have been there, yes anything you can think of is OK, sounds so good I may just try that myself. try this cook your pasta the way you always do drain saving some of the water, add pasta back to the pot add your onion dip mix well add just enough of your pasta water to keep it juicy. Have a nice day.
