this is our investigatory project.. we have our procedure but i think something is missing in our procedure.
1. Wash the sweet potatoes with clean water.
2. Peel off the skin of the uncooked sweet potatoes.
3. Grate the sweet potatoes by using a grater.
4. Use a clean cloth and squeeze the sweet potatoes. Keep squeezing until the sweet potatoes become dry.
5. Let it dry under the sunlight for about 24 hours.
Should I add something so that the sweet potato will taste nice?

I dont think this would be a great idea to be honest, if you then try and cook it just wont work..they are a ‘potatoe’ and will act like one! Stick to mash, chips, etc with them.

Sounds good Sweet Potato is a great food and good for you, I’d add a little pepper and maybe a pinch of salt, perhaps some low fat sour cream as well. But that all depends on your dietary needs.

Why would you go to all that trouble to make sweet potatoes? You can wash them, prick the skins and bake them until soft; just put butter & salt in them. Or peel them, cut into big pieces and boil until soft; mash them with lots of butter, maybe a little brown sugar & cinnamon. Sweet potatoes are an excellent starch alternative to rice - they have ALOT of vitamins in them

Step 5 is wrong. The potato will dry out and go yukky. At stage 4, form into patties and cook.
