could some one pls tell me how to make some good home made beef stew

I’ve always used the store seasoning packets but if I want to do it from scratch, what would I use?

Why does my beef stew always come out tough and chewy. I buy really good stew meat and I brown the meat first. Then I put in crock pot with some veggies, water and gravy for 5 hours on low…
What am I doing wrong? I just bought really good meat and its been only cooking [...]

i remember it was a one player game online that yuo were supposed to be able to let you connect your Hey You Pikachu! game from your Nintendo64. you would put certain ingredients in a pot to help pikachu make stew. what website or link is that game on?

i just bought a slow cooker and have put sausages and vegies in it, covered with water… added some stock but would like it to be thicker?
how do i do that?? what should i put in??

how do you avoid ending up with tough/chewy/overcooked beef…does it have to do with type of cut of beef that’s used?

I’m interested in trying beer in with some crockpot beef stew, to add some extra flavor. I tried some a few weeks ago with Guinness in it, but it didn’t go over so well.
Any suggestions?
