Depends on if you have access to a good restaurant. I can get great Chinese food close to me but the Mexican is lame. I love good Mexican food but would much rather eat great Chinese food than mediocre Mexican food.
If you like the noodles and deep fried stuff then you should get Chinese. But if you want to sit down and have a Burrito or something like that get Mexican food. I prefer Chinese food more.
The Chinese have a longer history and tradition in fine cuisine - it has numerous regions each with its own taste and food tradition - Chinese cooking is among the richest and most varied anywhere in the world, with dishes perfect for every occasion. It has got to be Chinese!
Chinese all the way, mexican cuisine which is good, tends to be boring, not to much diversity, most dishes are the same, but in a different tortilla, or bread. Chinese is way more delicious, diverse, elegant, and creative.
I don't know if you've noticed, but have you ever seen chinese people eating at a mexican place? I don't think so, in my case, never have, now when you're in a chinese restaurant, or buffet, how many mexican do you see? haha many

I like Chinese better. Also, it's hard to find a decent Mexican restaurant. My mother can make both quite well. Her tamales are the best.
