My candy molds have gotten a greasy feel on them can someone tell me how to clean them? I know I am not supposed to put them in the dish washer. Do I just use regular dish detergent? Thanks for any info.

Hand wash in warm soapy water (regular dish washing liquid) then rinse.

Yes- dish detergent- but use the hottest water you possibly can- even boil some on the stove- and let them sit in the hot soapy water for a few before you get your scrub on.

NOOOOOO! Do not wash with soap. The molds should never be washed because it is easy to leave soap residue that affects the flavor of the chocolates. Once the remnants of chocolate in the mold have completely cooled, the chocolate will flake off by wiping with a soft, dry cotton cloth (polyester will leave tiny fibers on the plastic). A light film of cocoa butter will remain which is polished with the cotton cloth, making your next batch of chocolates even shinier than the previous batch.
