How do i defrost a pack of frozen boneless skinless chicken breasts? I just took them from the freezer and put them in the refrigerator, but I know they won't be thawed out in time to cook tonight.
I will be cooking them on my george foreman grill, and prior to grilling, I would like to add some marinade that has to sit on the chicken for 15 minutes.
Thanks.
How long to leave in the sink? I don't want it t spoil.

if you put in in a bowl and leave the cold water running its okay that a safe way of defrosting. or you can boil it then grill it. or i say cook it in the oven.

You can use the defrost setting on your microwave. It only takes about 5 minutes. Make up your marinade, put them in it, cover it with plastic wrap and put them in the fridge. By the time you're ready to cook on the grill they will be defrosted.

If you have an aluminum skillet or griddle, use it as a defrosting tray. That's how I defrost everything. It's exactly the same as the defrosting trays sold for that purpose.
It works great, alot faster than any other way I've tried.

put it in a container in your sink, run cold water over it until the container fills up with water. Keep the water at a slow flow so that the water is not stagnating.
If you have a convection oven you can put the fan on with out heat, it will probably take it a little longer than the water method.
If worse comes to worse you can use the defrost function on your Microwave oven but I would not recommend it. It will only take a few minutes and you can begin marinating much sooner…but we should really have to depend on the mucrowave should we…microwaves are bad =(
Good Luck

Remember science class? What are the "best conductors" of heat (or cold)? Hint: metal
Put the chicken breasts (hopefully individually wrapped) directly on the Foreman grill. The metal will "unfreeze" the breasts in 1/4 the time it would otherwise take. If you do not want to do that, then set the individually wrapped breasts on a METAL surface. Same principal.

Place total packet in the sink or a large pan, cover with water.
You might need some weight to keep them submerged.
Don't worry if the packet leaks, just rinse them off well.
When they are soft enough to separate, unwrap them, &
transfer to the marinade in a baking dish in the frig.
