before putting the lid on the cup very lightly brush the rim with olive oil.
the oil will not mix with the drink nor will it pass on the taste to the drink itself. As you should be aware of if you are making a cocktail most are garnished with an olive anyhow.
run cold water over it. Yes, cold water. It will melt the iced over lid faster to where you can open it again. If that don’t work, then clog your sink, fill with hot water, and lay shaker in it. Good luck. Ps. don’t put it in the freezer anymore, that’s not where it goes.
