so i was down the shore and i was talking to some old man who used to be a wrestling coach and he was telling me to take flaxceed oil, fish oil and omega 3, 6 and 9.. supposedly really good for your mind, skin and body. he said to take these 3 times a day. is this safe? should i be consuming ALL of these supplements? and is it really good for you? if you have any information on this or have ever heard of this, your comments will be well appreciated!

Read this website. They have all the info you seek and they sell a product I found last year called Udo's 3-6-9 oil. It has done wonders for my cholesterol and strength levels.

They all provide you with fat that lowers the bad cholesterol, raises the good, and helps to maintain a healthy body weight. Flax seeds are a good natural whole-grain source for unsaturated fat. Omega 3 fatty acids come from fish, and omega 6 comes from nuts. You can work these into your diet to replace the bad (saturated) fats found in fast food, etc.

My suggestion is to increase your omega 3 intake. Both omega 3 and 6 are essential since your body cant make these types of fat, but more products are corn oil based which are high in omega 6 anyways

all these supplements contain essential fatty acids, linoleic acid which is really good for you. but if you eat salmon, tuna or halibut twice a week atleast, thers no need for you to take these supplments. I don't take flaxseed oil but I take fish oil capsule by GNC everyday WITH A MEAL. remember to take these supplements with a full meal. Yes its perfectly safe to take these supplements but I am not sure if you shuld be taking all 3 at the same tame. Fish oil itself should be sufficent. And if you're already taking a multivitamin containing Vitamin A then it might cause vitamin A toxicity. If you're pregnant then you should ask your doctor first before taking these.
