I’m getting married next September. The color I have picked for my bridesmaid dresses is a wine color. I’m trying to get ideas or suggestions on what type/color flowers I should use along with center piece ideas as well. Any ideas would be great. Thanks!

I suggest white, or maybe yellow flowers. Or even like a burnt orange color. Use gold ribbon, or even a wine ribbon to match the dresses. IMO yellow and wine are beautiful together.

My oldest daughter married a few years ago in October and also chose wine colored bridesmaid dresses. Her centerpieces doubled as her seating chart. Outside the reception room she had nicely printed papers with a different picture of fruit on each (apples, oranges, pineapples, strawberries, etc) and if your name was on that list that was the table you sat. The centerpiece was a nice arrangement of that fruit and while it may sound crazy it looked really nice. She just added some greenery to the arrangements. They wre placed on mirrored circles and surrounded by voltive candles.
Also as an icebreaker each table was asked to sing a short song using the fruit at the table while waiting on the wedding party to arrive after picture taking.

If you are doing silk flowers than you can do a wine colored flower but if your going with fresh flowers try red roses.

I think boquets with the colors lavendar and pink would stand out nicely against the darker wine.
I would suggest those roses that are cream with the pink edges with some lavendar color flower as accent. Even a few dark red roses mixed in would tie in with the dresses, but I think a boquet of all red doesn’t stand out against that color.
The roses that are a yellowy-orange with reddish pink edges would look nice as well (no purple here)
