Pinot Grigio is very good. Clean, crisp, dry and doesn't have a very strong flavor like Chardonay. Bella Sera is a good one and so is Cavit. They're both very well priced.

Sauvingion Blanc is nice and mild but still has good flavor, and it’s dry.

Try Vinho Verde. It is Portuguese, and relatively cheap. The name literally translates as Green wine, but simply means young wine, it is not sweet but not dry and is lower than average in alcohol. Lovely stuff in a hot summer, if we ever have another of those!!

Although the most popular of Rieslings is a sweet variety, it also is produced as a semi-sweet and dry. If you have been drinking moscato and feel that it is too sweet, try a dry Riesling. New York Sate makes very good dry and sweet Rieslings. Also Washington State does well.
One of the best is Chateau St. Michelle from Washington.
