I've nevr done it before. And I have my bull full of mixed spices. But there is no liquid of any kind. How exactly do I apply the rub to the meat? Do I simply use my hands and spread it around as best I can? Will the spices sticke to the meat that way? Thanks.

Yes…rub the spices all over the meat…kind of massaging it in. They will stick to the meat. Cook as desired. Good luck!

That's why it's called a rub - you rub it on with your hands. Yes, it will stick to the meat as long as you haven't dried it off.

Yep, that's why is a "rub."
Best thing to do, lay out a sheet of plastic wrap and place the meat on it before applying the rub. When finished (make sure the rub is covering everything), wrap it tightly in the plastic wrap and place it in the frig. Depending on the type of meat you're preparing, you should let it sit and marinate for anywhere from 12 to 24 hours.

Let the meat sit at room temperature for approximately 15 minutes and sprinkle the rub mixture all over it. Don a pair of disposable latex gloves, massage the meat thoroughly and turn it over. Add more rub and massage again.
(I wear gloves because my rub mixture is very red from paprika and will stain my hands)

rinse off the meat, let it stand while you prep the rub and rub it into the meat.

Yes…you sprinkle some of the dry rub on the meat, and then, using your hands, rub it in.
It should stick to the meat with little issue; just take it out of the refrigerator and let it sit at room temp for 10-15 minutes prior.
