easy and tasteful, garlic and onions chopped into a pan, fried till sizzling , ad the cans or jars or tins of diced tomatoes bring to a boil then just sit back and let it simmer for an hour if you have the time, and it’l reduce, just don’t forget the occasional stir..

fry two or three crushed cloves of garlic in a couple of tbsp of olive oil,add two large cans of crushed,or chopped tomatoes, season well, leave to simmer for five mins, add a hadful of chopped fresh basil at the end of cooking….simple and delicious, you can add other ingrediants to this basic sauce, and it freezes really well.

Tomato sauce, one can or two depending on number of people.

On half bread or a full bread of butter.

      Salt.

      Cook at medium until thick.

      Thanks
