How do you stabilize wine bottles in a riddling rack?

September 18th, 2008 · 1 Comment

I received a riddling rack years ago as a gift and love it so much that it is on display in my dining room. The only problem is that wine bottles are not held as snug as champagne bottles. Has anyone ever used a riddling rack before and found a way to stabilize wine bottles? I would really appreciate any feedback.

This is only a guess, but try a little glob of wax inside each hole of the rack. The wax might help grip the wine bottles better. There is also that earthquake putty stuff that you put under vases and collectibles on shelves so they don’t slid around.
