How do you unlock your LG Chocolate if you can’t remember your password?

Please help!!!
I can only call my 3 emergency contacts, and they couldn’t help me with this!
I set a new password earlier because my sisters found out the password, its a 4 digit combination i have no clue what i reset it too earlier.
HELP!!!
this may sound dumb but:
If i take out the battery for ten minutes will it delete any of my information or memory from my phone?

      Take the battery out for 5 min.

      There’s probably a verizon help number somewhere. I don’t know if it’ll work, but you can try taking out the battery and then putting it back in.

      Take out the battery. Wait 10 minutes. Put the battery back in. If it still doesn’t work take it to your local Verizon or call them toll free at (800) 922-0204
