The food on transatlantic flights isn't all that bad. On my last flight, I had a steak option in the main cabin! However, the breakfast that is served when traveling eastbound could be better, but the croissant is served warm. As far as personal TVs go, AA has them installed in every seat on its Boeing 777 aircraft. It's other transatlantic aircraft (Boeing 767 and 757) only have overhead TVs mounted every few rows. With the personal TVs on the 777, your options are still somewhat limited compared to other carriers because of lack of on-demand options. In addition, there are no games.

It's as good as whatever you pack and bring with you.

Here's a great website to answer all of your airline food questions - pictures and reviews - check it out! (The site's better than some of the food!)
