how long can i keep and use american cheese from the deli?

you know how packaged cheese has a use by date that is weeks after you buy it? does that apply to deli cheese too?

      Well you know it depends. because i mean if it still looks good. and smells good. i think your fine, now if it smells very sour, and has some dis-coloration. then no.

      american cheese keeps way longer than many other cheeses because it’s processed - in my experience, it can be good for several weeks.
