how long will sliced potatoes,, in water.. last in the fridge?

I sliced some potatoes for french fries on the 4th of july… i didnt end up using them all… so I left them in a bowl of water in the fridge… can I still fry them up today…. whill they still taste good???

      I always do the sniff test. And for the potatoes especially feel the texture. July 4th doesn't seem that bad to me. That was only 4 days ago.

      Rinse them well and let come to room temp before using, yes, they are still good but don't go longer than 5 days.

      They will be fine.I would rinse them well.The white liquid is potassium that was removed from the potatoes…..
