the general rule is 2.5 oz times her weight… if your feeding her every 2 hours it should be fine..
if she is gaining wieght don't worry about it, she knows when she is hungry!

Just keep feeding on demand….as long as your baby is having wet nappies and gaining weight, then she is getting enough milk.

As long as she seems to be gaining weight and doesn't seem to be sick or anything it should be fine, some babies seem to spit up all their food but will still gain weight at a healthy rate. While other babies will eat small amounts at a time. If she seems healthy, it should be fine

How often is she drinking??? If she is drinking every 2-3 hours this is normal. Usually babies breastfed have more feedings and drink fewer ounces than formula fed. AS long as she is going to the bathroom good. and is acting satisfied than do not stress. She would be screaming if she was not getting enough. Congratulations

I have breastfed all 3 of my babies, and they've all been fat and healthy. All of my kids were efficient nursers, finishing off their meal in about 10 minutes. I was a little concerned with my first, because I had read that they were supposed to nurse for about 15 min on each side. Plus, my sis had a baby a couple of months ahead, and her nursing sessions took about 45 min each.
But my little one gained weight just fine…all three have been plumpie dumplings. My sis and I finally decided that my milk was under more pressure (smaller 'containers'
and that I was producing sweetened condensed milk. When I would pump, I always got less than she did, but it was usually very rich looking…almost yellow. Her milk was more watery looking, and she produced more. I asked my pediatrician about this, and he told me that breast milk quality varies from one woman to the next. Some women produce a higher calorie count milk than others.
I don't think God intended us to measure breast milk. If your baby is happy and gaining weight, don't let these types of details distract you from enjoying your baby. Stress can really affect your milk and your mood. Just enjoy this sweet time!

Just feed her whenever she is hungry. Her tummy is still pretty small, about the size of her fist, so it won't hold alot. Just make sure she has wet diapers.

Ditch the bottle completely! There is no need to worry about how much baby is getting so long as you are getting a good amount of wet diapers. Babies have a great way of self regulating their diet. So long as baby appears satisfied after a feeding you have nothing to worry about. Just keep with the nursing.

Feeding on demand, gaining weight, hitting milestones on time. Don't worry, she is doing fine.

You are feeding less but more often, it's like little snacks throughout the whole day. If this is working for her then she is fine. Don't worry until she stops gaining and your doctor grows concerned.

throw away the timers and the measurements and feed that bub whenever and wherever she wants. You cannot go wrong if you listen to your baby. She knows exactly what she needs.

Our little son who is also 7 weeks drinks about 3.5oz - 4oz per feeding roughly every 3 hour or so. he is roughly 12lbs right now.
10 minute on the breast can potentially release 3 oz, so 10 minute feeding (which our son also does) is also fine.
2oz every couple of hour sounds fine. How often is the feeding?
