ask your caterer for an estimate. they may not be able to supply the liquor if they don’t have a license, but they can tell you how many cases will be needed. ask them for quotes based on glasses being filled 1/4 or 1/2 way, you don’t have to fill each glass to the top for your guests, it depends on how much $$ you want to spend.

It soooo depends on the glasses you use. Its really impossible to estimate without that. You should fill it 1/2 to 2/3 of the way full.

I'd say the average bottle of champagne yields about 4-5 glasses, depending on how much you serve. I'd say, one bottle has about 4 small glasses. So, you'd need about 25 bottles for 100 guests. Although, I'd probably order 30 bottles just to be on the safe side.
I recently served Mimosas at a party I hosted. I bought some inexpensive champagne and I got about 3 big glasses (I used wine glasses, b/c I don't have champagne flutes) out of one bottle. If I used small champagne flutes, I probably could have got 5 glasses out of one bottle.

It really depends on the size of the glasses and how much you plan to fill the glasses. It would also depend on the size of the bottles that you plan to buy. The best thing to do is ask your caterer. Though they may not be providing the champagne, I’m sure they’ve had enough experience to know a decent estimate for you.

You only need a small amount, about 1/2 cup (4 oz.) per glass ought to do it.
