How much oil do you use to fry a funnel cake??

I am using a medium sized pan (about like…8 inches by 7 inches) so how much oil do i use to fry one funnel cake??? HELP NOW!! thanks in advance so much!!!!! :o)

      Half inch of oil should do it.

      an inch to 2 inches is better since it fryes it better and makes it taste good!

      You will need the oil to be 2 times as deep as your funnel cakes are thick. About 1" is normally plenty.

      To avoid greasy cakes let the oil come back up to cooking temp before adding the batter for the next one.
