how much weight did you lose when you became a vegetarian or vegan?

September 12th, 2008 · 9 Comments

about 4-5 years ago i stopped eating red meat. at the time i ate chicken and turkey still but i remember i lost between 5-10 pounds..i dont remember exactly but i do remember i looked healthier and different…since then i have been like ‘underweight.’ last summer i was 5′5 and 98 pounds and everyone called me anorexic and celery stick

now im about 111 with some muscle and im 5′6…i stopped eating chicken and turkey almost a month ago so now i am offically a FULL vegetarian and im going to try to never eat meat again..

not for the losing weight..i think its CRUEL AND INHUMANE the way they kill the animals

anyway im wondering how much weight u lost?

I don’t know; I stopped eating meat when I was nine and fish when I was eleven, and didn’t really pay much attention to my weight, but I didn’t have a hugely significant drop. 98 pounds is pretty light, but 111 is okay. Just eat healthily and you’ll be fine!
