i need to know the age of this duck egg. my mom accidentally killed it and i would like to try again. So i need to know how far this egg made it, it would help in raising my second egg. The hyperlink below is a picture of the dead duck.

its probably around 10 days, if that purplish blob is in the middle. Just look at this website. It shows the development of an egg (even though its for chickens, its still accurate enough)

It's hard to tell how big this is, and the photo is blurry, but I think the pinkish bit in the upper left is the actual embryo. It's just a few days old. Five days is my guess.
