How should I spice up my dinner tonight? I’m using jarred vodka sauce, chicken (canned), and rotini.?

What else can I add to the main course? I have most basic ingredients. I make this occasionally since it’s easy - just heat up the sauce (with chicken) and cook the noodles, then mix together and voila - dinner is on the table. What if I baked it somehow with cheese on top, like a baked spaghetti? I don’t know. What else can I do to give it some flavor?
I've made it with the canned chicken before and it tastes fine, enjoyable actually. Very easy for a busy man to make.

I like to add peas and mushrooms, cover w/cheese and bake until bubbly–its great w/ frozen ravioli too

I would punch up your sauce….

Carmelize a can of tomato paste until the smell turns ’sweet’ - this is the Italian method of making killer tomato sauce.

While that is happening, saute some julienned bell pepper, onion, and garlic until tender. Set aside.

Add the jarred sauce to your tomato paste. Keep stirring until heated through.
Add the veggies and chicken, and, depending on your spice cabinet, a little thyme, basil, and oregano, along with some salt and pepper, and a pinch of sugar (neutralizes the acid in the tomatoes).
Heat until just bubbling, and then cool for eating.

    This is awesome, btw.

Don’t ‘punch up’ your food with fat - like cheese. Punch it up with flavor, such as with veggies, herbs, and spices.

If I were you I would omit the canned chicken, add mushrooms to the sauce. You can bake it with cheese on top until bubbly. You could add a number of vegetable to the sauce, but the canned chicken sounds pretty bad…. Sorry, your efforts are given an A+, but since you asked for help. How about some homemade garlic bread?
Take a nice loaf of french bread, slice lengthwise in half, take a stick of butter, microwave for 30 seconds, stir and put back in for another 20 seconds, then grate 3 cloves of garlic into it (or chop real fine, and paste with salt - much easier to grate it with a fine grater or microplane if you have one) add dried parsley, salt and pepper, and a dash of paprika. Spread over your bread halves and bake at 400 for about 10 minutes - keep an eye on it, it will burn and get away if you turn your back! lol! You can always do a nice side salad with your pasta and bread too! Good luck and enjoy!

I would prepare it as usual, then, add some chopped spinach (fresh or frozen that you have thawed), pour into a casserole dish that you have rubbed with olive oil, top with mozzerella and parmasean cheeses and bake on 350 until it’s bubbly and cheese is melted. Meanwhile, slice and toast some french bread, spread with butter and sprinkle with garlic powder and dried parsley - put back in the oven in aluminum foil to stay warm - voila! - garlic bread!
