How to clean rice cereal gunk off of plastic accessories on baby bottles?

My baby eats rice cereal with formula mixed but the rice cereal has left a glue like gunk that is stuck to the bottem of the plastic air flow piece. i have tried to soak it in proxcide and scratching it off but no luck does any other mothers out there have this same problem and how did you get it to come off!!!

      rice is not supposed to go in the bottles…formula is. If your baby is old enough to eat rice…use a bowl and a spoon.

      When in doubt I usually try baking soda dissolved in warm water and then leave it soak for at least an hour. Adding a little dish detergent is okay.

      You should rinse everything after it's used and before it starts drying - it's much easier to wash that way!
