How to fix LG VX8550a aka Blue Ice Chocolate?

I dropped my phone in a toilet a few days ago. I have since gotten it to work and the only problem that it is having is when either the 2 or 3 button is pressed it enters 32, which is causing trouble for me to dial numbers and use text messaging. It seems like water got into the keypad and is causing it to error. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to fix it? If it doesn't get fixed, I will have to get a new phone, so I don't really mind taking it apart and since the watermark is showing in the battery compartment, the warranty is void anyways. Should I take it apart and attempt to fix it myself? Is there somewhere near Bellingham, WA that I can take it and THEY'LL fix it? Should I buy a "for parts" LG Chocolate and use the parts in there to attempt to fix it? Please help!!!
