How to make an atom model out of candy? HELP PLEASE!?

I want to make it completely out of candy, except the stand and maybe what holds the candy together… please help! Thanx so much, and sorry about the caps, but this is urgent and due soon lol =]
Gum drops sound fun, good idea! I still would luv more ideas tho =]

Gum drops and toothpicks, I’ve done it and it works great! Leave them out overnight and they will harden a little and then the model will be easier to handle.
