take a small nutcracker or simply a weight and break the outer covering like u will for a groundnut, hitting it on the end.Then, if u want 2 remove the other coverings, keep it dipped in water for atleast 2 hours so that they imbibe some water, which will make the coverings break very easily like membranes.if u hv any more doubt, u may contact me by email

The fruits are harvested when they have turned yellow to dark brown, dried till the capsules have split open, then seeds are de-hulled by using wooden plank and winnowed to separate the hulls from the seeds.
Before storing seeds have to be dried in the shade not in direct sunlight.
The use of a machine is not reported.
