yes yes, alcohol (any alcoholic beverage) can add a lot of pounds that you may not be aware of (this is why drinking while on a diet is a no-no)
not to mention you are probibly eating better then you did those 2-3 days a week and that can cause a drop….now don't eat in a manner to loose weight of course, but if it is happening due to a better (healthy) diet (what you eat on a daily basis) that is normal it will plato quickly….and if you have any morning sickness or food aversions, or feel to bleh to eat that is normal.
rememebr to weigh yourself at the same time everyday (better to do it once a week) because your weight will vary greatly throughout the day (you can see this if you weigh yourself several times throughout a day)
just talk to your ob to make sure the weight loss is okay, and they can moniter it…but there are women who in the first three months lose 10, 15 pounds from being ill. relax and talk to your ob at your next visit, your fine!!!!!

It is normal for some people to lose weight in the first trimester. Just keep eating healthy meals and the weight will soon pack on. Best Wishes!
PS. No more alcoholic drinks.
