i have a wine color dress and some dark brown shoes to wear to a wedding what type of stocking should i wear?

  I would just wear a regular suntan color - I would also choose to wear black shoes instead of brown.

  wear regular stockings, skin-color. Don’t wear dark brown shoes, try to get them in a shade similar to that of ur dress.

  “Nude” legs look classic, so go for a very sheer stocking the same as your leg color. Depending on the shade of the wine, a black shoe might be a good choice, as the other poster mentioned.

  Unless your dress is in black, if not avoid the brown shoes. Try black or silver heels. They would go with any color of dress, and match them with sheer charcoal-colored pantyhose, or just plain nude pantyhose. Lol. hopes it helped! (:
