Im working hard 2 get through school, work full time and raise 3 teens with no public assistance. I’m SICK thinking that I’m working so someone else can sit on their butts and drain society. I’m tempted 2 just say “screw it” and go build a tree house and eat berries and crap in the woods so the users and abusers cannot get what I earned!!
I got my degree BEFORE "popping out" 3 kids! I'm getting an advanced degree SUGARS so I can get further ahead. What angers is me is that I don't want those who CHOOSE to not pursue success to get what I am working for!

I don't know who you're talking about by "he", but if you're really in the situation you're talking about… you should vote for Obama… You'd get a HUGE tax cut under him: See for yourself.
EDIT: By the way, is the number 2 really that much easier to type than the word "to"? Even if it is, you should "go the extra mile". That whole numbers-to-represent-words thing is really irritating.

Because that’s what we’ve been doing since Johnson instituted the “War on Poverty” in the mid 60’s, well I hate to break it to people but it didn’t and doesn’t work,
and bankrupting the country isn’t going to change that.

A lot of people are sick about it. Obama claims to increase taxes only on the “wealthy.” However, the so-called “Bush tax cuts” (you know, the ones the Dems claim only benefit the “rich”) sunset in 2010 and Obama plans to block their renewal. If you actually look at the tax charts, you will see that under Clinton, a person making $30,000 paid nearly $9000 in income taxes. Under the “Bush tax cuts,” that was reduced to little over $4000. So Obama plans to more than double income taxes on people making only $30,000. With inflation, it is getting very tough to survive on only $30,000/yr. How are you going to survive under a doubling of your income taxes?
BTW, Obama was a prime mover of the “exit tax” which passed in July (buried in another bill). If you want to leave the US, you have to pay 42% of all of your worldwide assets, including unrealized gains. It applies not only to citizens, but also to anyone who has resided in the US for 8 (total) years out of the previous 15 years.
If Obama wins, get out of the US before Jan 20th. He wants your money to give to “minorities” and “immigrants” (meaning illegal aliens), so they can have the “American Dream.” He forgets that the American Dream was all about being able to create the life you want for yourself and your family, not about leeching away what others created for their families.

Congrats!! is admirable what are you doing for yourself and your family, raising teenagers is not easy, I am in my way with a teenager. Don’t bitter your life thinking about “others” but, feel happy that you are making it! keep it up and God bless.
