I am cutting out the bottom food group from my diet till I drop a few pounds. Before I start I need ideas for meals, epically breakfast, snacks, and lunch. I do exercise a lot and eat a couple of table spoons of flax seed a day and vitamin pills so I will be getting the nutrients I am missing.
Thanks all ideas are appreciated,
Liv

I love making Roasted Spaghetti Squash with Parmesan Curls. It’s one of my faves, and it tastes great, so it’s almost like it’s not a health food. Here’s a link: planetgreen.discovery.com/food-health/emerils-roasted-spaghetti-squash.html

Try egg and egg white omelettes for breakfast. You can load it up with veggies, like mushrooms, peppers, onions, spinach and asparagus.
Lunch, stick to salads with a protein in them, like grilled chicken or shrimp. Or better yet, one of my favorite dishes are lettuce wraps. Just stir fry some shrimp with peppers, and mushrooms, some crushed red pepper, and wrap in bibb lettuce leaves.
Snacks…light yogurt, fruit, veggie sticks with fat free ranch dressing, nuts ans trail mix.

bottom food group? the food pyramid? please don’t follow the food pyramid unless you want your body to be shaped like a pyramid. its an old, incorrect source of nutrition for us. blah
sounds like you’re cutting out your carbs! good choice if you want to lose some fat.
be warned however, meals are pretty boring lol..
breakfast will have to be egg based. steak and eggs is great!
tuna salad for lunch?
protein shakes (make sure they carbs are minimal in them)
fish for dinner. or chicken and veggies.
good luck!
