      Yes, we actually call it egg bread in my house lol, you can sprinkle cinnamon on top but it's still basically egg bread.

      Scramble 1 egg very throughly for every 2 slices of bread.
      add 1/2 tsp of cinnamon
      stir

      lather both sides of bread with mixture
      in skillet, "fry" on medium heat 1 minute per side.

      adjust cinnamon quantity to taste
      adjust timing depening on your pan-type and your definition of "medium"

      add butter, sprinkle with powdered sigar if you like.
      add syrup if you want.

      The egg mixture should include Cinnamon and a splash of vanilla extract. Bread should be soaked then fried so the egg is no longer runny.

      funny thing, in france, you almost never eat "french toast" and when we do, cinamon is optinnal
