I’ve been a vegetarian for years.
You just have to eat a lot of proteins to make up for the meat you’re not eating.
      I’m really healthy XD

not necessarily, i’ve been a vegetarian all my life so just make sure you still get enough protein and calcium…if not then just watch what kind of meat you eat how much and how its cooked.

meat being stuck in your system is a myth. True some systems may move slowly if your ingest only meat, but the whole myth about meat sitting in your stomach until it rots is bogus.

If your constipated increase both your soluble fiber and insoluble fiber, preferably from natural sources such as vegetables, fruits, legumes, whole grains etc.. (as opposed to bottled fiber)

If you are in need of a quick fix, try prune juice. much safer and gentle than over the counter constipation medicine.

Become a vegetarian if you wish, but if you like meat I suggest you continue eating it in smaller portions, while increasing the size of your vegetable portions.

I eat meat in small amounts,, I prefer to flavor my dishes with meat, rather than meat being the primary focus of the meal. (much like real chinese food) a lentil salad with fresh asparagus and herbs topped with a little bit of crisp fresh bacon is a dream!

Only if you lay off stuff like fried mozzarella sticks with ranch dressing. The point here is that while a vegetarian diet (especially a vegan one) is inherently healthier that a meat diet, you’ll still have to a
watch out for fats, carbs, cholesterol, etc.
You’ll save money and do the environment a favor by cutting out meats. Talk to your doctor, and give it a shot.
(PS: I’m in the meat business)

The human digestive system is just not designed to cope with meat. If you compare just length of it, it is comparatively about four times longer than that of a tiger of other carnivorous animal, but is about the same as other herbivorous mammals. Our bodies just don’t like meat! Babies have to acquire a taste for it because it actually tastes dead to them!

Vegetarianism is such a good choice, If it was recommended by Leonardo Da Vinci and Albert Einstein, then obviously its a smart idea!

yes, it is. Meat is not good, you’ll have many problems with the stomach because of it :-D . You can take proteins from vegetables and fruit. And there are a lot of vegetarian types of food which are more yummy than meat.

      It really all depends.
If you eat healthy, with all of your vitamins and minerals then it is healthy. I have been a vegetarian for only about 6 months and i am healthy as a clam. But it IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT TO GET ALL OF YOUR VITAMINS!! If not, then it IS unhealthy.

Being vegetarian in and of itsef doesn’t make you suddenly healthier. You won’t have meat stuck in your system, but you shouldn’t have that happening if you’re eating a varied diet that’s high in fiber. Vegetarians can still eat poorly (usually when they don’t eat enough variety and/or when they eat a lot of junk food, all of which is totally vegetarian) and not exercise, so you aren’t automatically healthy because you cut out meat.

If you do it the right way, you’ll notice a positive change in your system, including proper bowel movements.
