Some of my neighbors are coming over for a dinner and drink. One of them is pregnant, but really wants the cool taste of beer in this hot summer. So I am thinking about getting non-alcoholic beer for her. I hear these non-alcoholic beers still do contain 0.5% or less alcohol.
Is it safe for a pregnant woman to drink a bottle or two of these non-alcoholic beer?
Also.. any suggestions on which non-alcoholic beer tastes closest to Bud Ice? (need something that I can easily find in local stores).

O'douls Amber is the best I've tried.

I wouldn't advise it - I asked my doctor about this early on in pregnancy .. It still has the 0.5% alcohol in it.. meaning its still beer just not as potent.

My doctor told me it was fine and I am very conservative about these kind of things when I am pregnant. I drank BUCKLER throughout my pregnancy and LOVED it. I tried all the non-alcoh beers and BUCKLER by far is the best. It is sold at all grocery stores around here and probably where you live to. Stella also makes a non-alcoh beer that is a good 2nd.
Have fun!
