Is my non-stick frying pan ruined?

Ok, so, I have this non-stick frying pan. I make a fried egg or something (with canola oil), took the food out, turned the heat off, and ate my food.
Then I forgot about the pan. Then I left town for a month and a half.
My cooking council says it's ruined, but I'm not so sure.
Help!?

I haven't started cleaning it yet, because maybe there is some magical procedure I need to use to get it to work again?…
I'm not worried about things sticking to it, but more worried about the non-stick coating coming off, or not working… etc.

I would doubt that any amount of time would allow either Canola oil or a little food somehow destroy the coating. I'd soak it for a day, and try regular cleaning. If still something stuck, try Easy Off oven cleaner.

soak it in some warm soapy water, maybe that'll work.

You just need to wash in the normal way.

There is a spray called 'Power Dissolve' by 'Dawn' Just spray on and let sit for 20 minutes and wash as usual. It should be fine.
