It looks good, the price scares me though…
what would you rate it 1-10?

Absolute is probably the best one out of the cheaper brands. I don't like UV vodka. I love gray goose but that is expensive.

    Oh, i'd give UV a 3 maybe

a Vodka which comes in all colours of the rainbow, is usually not the best (why would it otherwise need these strong flavours and colours??)

if you need a name brand, check out the link below. for me the best is Prince Edward Island Vodka (second link), second best "Chopin".

and don't forget, keep it in the freezer!

good stuff is not meant for mixing - there a store brand will do.

…..all vodka is really just grain alcohol…..look for how many times it has been distilled…..there are some inexpensive brands that have been distilled four times which is generally plenty…….then just put it in the freezer…….you will not be able to distinguish whether the vodka costs $8 a fifth or $60 a fifth….whether your shooting it…..or making drinks….especially after the first two…….there are some better vodkas IF you want to spend the money……unless the guests are drinking the martinis warm….or"loudmouth soup" , as we used to call it…..the extra expense is really a waste……I've tried about 30 brands……vodka has been my drink of choice for the last 10 years…..if you're putting any mix at all in….then it's REALLY a waste to spend a bunch more on "grain alcohol"……it's all about the distillation and how many times……Absolute is a waste….I can buy a $2 jar of lemon concentrate and put a few drops in ….the reason people put olives and onions in is to get rid of the "alcohol" aftertaste…….to absorb……that is the purpose of multiple distillation…..the freezer will do the rest……the are some rot guts that I can't get down…like POPOV……..never done UV…….McCormick is about $7 a fifth and has been distilled four times……talk to your local liquor store clerk for some others……I think there was a semi expensive one I liked called 3 that was actually distilled from soy……the only vodka……. VERY clean…….I think a couple big wigs from a major company worked three years to develop it……put it in the freezer and it tastes like "ice water"……the best I ever had……and the soy does something else "health wise" …..although I don't remember what it was….

It isn’t that good. Its more of a college vodka, because for the price it doesn’t suck as much as you would expect. It’s drinkable, especially mixed, and gets you wrecked so its an instant college success.

Kettle One is superior, but at twice the price…
