      yes it is healthy but can cause many heartburn flareups if red ragu is used because of the acid in tomatoes

      I heard "mediterranean" is the best. I guess that could include Italian cuisine. But, if you're talking about "Italian-American cuisine" (like cheesesteaks, peppers & sausage or pizza) those aren't 'healthy'.
