Italian student on her way - food ?

so i have an italian foreign exchange student coming tomorrow night (monday) and i want to introduce her to some classic american food, some american resturants and american activites. the only days i have with her are friday saturday and sunday. got any suggestions ?
ps in her letter she wrote me she said she likes swimming, dance, gymnastics and travelling and she likes cooking and likes pasta and vegetables
