I wish you would have stated what you actually want to cook.
I make my own taco seasoning, I wont use that packaged junk, it is easy.
It is easy to make tortillas too. Enchaladas are yummy….
Start with a good site. Allrecipes.com is a good one. and start looking there. That is where I found my taco seasoning recipe and I wont use anything else now!
Good luck!

Hi,
Good traditional mexican food requires what any traditional cooking requires., the proper ingredients. These do not come outta cans or packages for the most part.
In mexican cooking most items come from the fresh veggie section. You may have to rely on dried chiles as I'm not familiar with Swedens grocery stores stocking practices. If tacos aren't availible you'll have to learn how to make them from corn flour. We have many types of flour mixes availible to us, but you might have to order tacos and tamales mixes.
But fresh ingredients prepared properly is the basis. My Thai wife loves mexican food and prepares it occasionally, but as my closet friend owns several mexican restaurants we eat at his places oft, or his brothers in law who also own some.
As for a web site, their are so many to choose from, just do a search.

I was raised up with this "Hispanic Latina" for a step-Mother, so I learned how to make "Chicken Enchilada's" and the like. she would make carnita's, and the sopa's, and all kinds of really pretty good mexican food. Other than that she was so mean to us!! WITCH, and except for loving my Father, she treated me and my sister who looked just like our real Mom like Dirt!! She even tried to kill us, twice each!! Every night she'd come to our bedroom and tell us just horrible mean terrible things about our real Mother that we knew were all LIES!! Because she was so JEALOUS of her!! However, we're not here to hear about my past, right.
Chicken Enchilada's: 1 Whole Chicken
2 can's Enchilada Sauce
Olives (Drained and Sliced)
3-4 kinds of Cheeses
Green Onion's & Spanish Onions
Corn or Flour Tortilla's (Preferably Flour, they taste much better with flour tortilla's, trust me on this one) Even though some hispanic people prefer corn).
Boil the chicken with some fresh garlic in the water, or just garlic seasoning. When done bone it all up onto a platter, in other words with NO bones, or veins in the chicken at all. Set aside. Grate all of your cheeses, such as Cheddar, Monterey Jack, Sour Cream, and whatever other kinds of Cheeses that may sound good to you. I think I used to use one other kind of Cheese, like Mozerella, too. You'll need a tad of oil in your warming pan, and the cake pan your going to lay the enchilada's in. Put the Enchilada sauce in the cake pan, and a tad on top of the oil, dunk your torts in through the oil and enchilada sauce, and lay them down in the Cake Pan..Add a row down the middle of Tort with mixture of olives, Cheeses, Chicken (Diced-up) You can also add to the mixture a small can of green chili, or Jualapeno peppper's diced-up… Depending on how your family likes spicey. Take and wrap one end of the side across the middle of the mixture, and tuck in the top and bottom, then fold the other end over, turn over enchilada folded side down. And repeat, when all the enchilada's are lying in a row in your pan top of with what's left of all of the mixture, lots of Cheeses, all over the top with the olives, and bake for about 45 minutes until your house is smelling good and Deliciousioso'~~!!!! You are going to love, love, love this recipe, trust me~~!! Then just make some spanish Rice to go with it, some Rosa Beans, with a tad of Cheese on top of the beans. As far as Cook-Books, for like Tamali's, in which Hispanic's make during the Holidays, alot!! Those you would have to get from a neighbor or someone from work, or if your husband is Hispanic, you'll need to ask his family for the recipe for those, because I never watched my step Mother make those, at all, I do know they do make them during the Holidays however, so you will need to know how to make them especially if your dating a Latino, or married to one. Tamali's are like their American Turkey to them!! And they make tons, and tons of them each Holiday, too!! Especially on May 5th~!!! Cinco De' Mayo~~!!!! They love to COOK~~!!!! TAMALI'S~!!!! You could also go to http://www.foodnetwork.com………And look up any kinds of Mexican Food Recipe's if you like okay. Good Luck to you~! Smile!!! Happy Bird Day to you & yours!!

Here is a good way to turn your turkey into something mexican. And also gives you a couple of ideas of seasoning.
