tell him to search up vegetables. Tell him Biologically, A fruit is something with seeds in it and a vegetable doesnt have any seeds.

It's a tuber. When the plant flowers sometimes a greenish purple fruit will appear that looks just like a tomato. Tomatoes are fruits, not veggies

I'm surprised you haven't by now, he would be annoying me to that point too…lol. The only thing i can think of is to show him on the net where it lists veggies and say see its listed so it is a veggie and they sell it with other veggies in the store. And tell him look see the potato which is a root vegetable Even has its own web site, good luck mate… ; -)

I think you should show him a site that proves that a potato is a vegetable. I guess he has his own reasons for not thinking it is a vegetable, but you should correct him so when he tells other people, they dont make fun of him.
