I have a non stick frying pan and one of my roommates washed it with a brillo and now the non stick surface is ruined. EVERYTHING sticks on it. No matter how much cooking spray I use, it still sticks. Is there any way to save it?

As you say, it is ruined. Perhaps your roommate will replace it.

Nope…toss it. Tell the roommate she owes you a new one.

Probably not, non stick surfaces are just that, a surface. They generally are sprayed onto a steel or aluminum substrate. Some non stick pans are better than others, but all are pretty “delicate”. Always use plastic and wooden utensils. I bought my wife a high end pan for Christmas and pretty much use a paper towel to clean the inside.

Take a trip to WalMart.
Problem solved.
